Australia-Indonesia Museums (AIM) Project

About the project

The AIM Project brings together museum curators and heritage professionals from Indonesia and Australia to develop collaborative approaches to researching and interpreting significant objects. Through the co-curation of an online exhibition, the project will explore new stories about the relationship between both countries.

AIM Project Launch and Orientation

The AIM Project Launch and Orientation held on Thursday, 27 May 2021, is the first meeting under the AIM Project, and provides an opportunity to share the aims and objects of the program, introduce the participants, outline the activities and key dates for the program, and begin to discuss ideas for the development of the exhibition.
